IWG Meeting on Information Sharing and Interoperability, New Delhi

1. The 4th edition of IONS Working Group on Information Sharing & Interoperability (IWG IS&I) was conducted at New Delhi, from 16 to 18 Feb 21.

2. Participation. All IWG ‘Member’ nations viz Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Iran, Oman, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and UAE participated. Visiting delegations comprised of Bangladesh, Iran and UAE. The other countries were represented by their Resident DAs/ NAs at New Delhi. Oman and Singapore participated virtually.

3. Activities

1. Key Note Address was delivered by RAdm J Singh, ACNS (FCI), Indian Navy.
2. Country perspective on ‘Information Sharing and Interoperability among IONS nations towards addressing Maritime Challenges’ by respective delegates.
3. Discussions on Resolutions.
4. A visit to IFC-IOR, Gurugram for the visiting delegations from Bangladesh, Iran and UAE was conducted on 18 Feb 21.
